Throughout her career, Shimin has taken on significant responsibilities in strategy, operations, and product leadership. Before leading Sleep Reset, she was a Partner at Index Ventures, served as GM for several products, and headed up Strategic Finance & Business Operations at Pilot.

Her time at McKinsey & Company in New York saw Shimin working as an Engagement Manager, specializing in Healthcare Systems & Services and Private Equity. In this role, she advised clients on driving growth, built market risk frameworks, and helped shape crucial investment and post-acquisition integration strategies.

Shimin is a proud alumna of Princeton University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with an A.B. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, complemented by a minor in Finance. Her academic achievements include earning the Princeton Thesis Research Award for her dissertation on Health Policy & Economics and studying abroad at Oxford University.

Outside of work, Shimin enjoys playing tennis, biking, delving into health books, painting Impressionist art, and enjoying walks with her Samoyed.
